Most hotels, restaurants and large shops take Visa and Mastercard, and Visa & Mastercard debit cards can withdraw RMB on automatic teller machines in commercial banks.
The voltage is 220-240V/50Hz. Most of the hotels in China have both 110V and 220V electrical outlets in the bathrooms, though in guest rooms usually only 220V sockets are available. As the shape of a socket varies between countries, a portable plug adaptor may also be necessary.
The socket on the right will be found in most of the hotel of shenzhen, but some hotel also provide universal sockets.
Due to its subtropical climate, Shenzhen weather is mild with plenty of sunshine and rainfall all year round. Summer in this city usually lasts for as long as 6 months, but without being overly hot. In comparison, winter is very short and not cold at all. However, it should be noted that the city is located at the estuary of the Pearl River and is therefore an area susceptible to typhoons. Generally most typhoons occur from May to December with the strongest from July to September.
